SigLite LCD Pads¶
Note
SigWeb™ offers electronic signature integration into Firefox, Chrome, Edge (10166 build or newer), Opera, and IE11+ for the full line of Topaz® signature pads.
Compatible with Windows 8.1, 10, or 11
Before using the device, we need to Download and install the TOPAZ software.
Steps to install the Software:
Step 1: Click on the Download SigWeb Installer.
Step 2: Once the file is downloaded, locate the file and run the process.
Accept the terms.
Step 3: Select your TOPAZ device Model, and connection type from the list.
These can be found on the back of your device. Currently VELA supports T-LBK460 and TM-LBK766SE.
Step 4: Proceed with the installation process.
Once the software is installed restart the system.
When the above package is installed, we can verify as below:
Click on the Start button on the computer and type Services.
Click on Open and locate the Topaz SigWeb Tablet Service and verify that the status displays Running.
We can verify the installation through the demo URL as well.
Once the installation is complete, test SigWeb with the SigWeb Demo at this page Demo SigWeb.
The page looks like this:
Connect your TOPAZ device to the laptop/Computer and click on the Sign button on the Demo page. The Signature box on the Demo page will be enabled.
Sign on the TOPAZ device, the Signature will be captured on the Signature box on the demo page.
Clicing upon Done, the page appears with the signature string.
This confirms that the installation is successful and ready to go!
Connect the TOPAZ device to the computer.
Now Login to the application and navigate to the Make A Payment page.
The Make A Payment page displays as below:
After filling all the required fields, the user has to select the Terms of Payment.
Once the Terms of Payment drop-down is selected, the list displays with different language options:
Upon selecting the language, we see the a message saying as Follow instructions on the Signature Pad.
The user can follow the instructions on the signature pad/Topaz and sign.
The signature is captured and will be reflected in the signature box on the Make A Payment page and the Review button gets enabled.
Clicking upon the Review button, the user is taken to the Review Payment page.
Clicking upon Confirm button, the payment gets processed and the user is taken to the Confirmation page, where the signature gets reflected.
Refunds
The Signature pad behaves the same way on the Refund page as well.
Once the user selects Transaction Category as Card Present and the Terminal the page displays as below:
Clicking upon the Terms Of Refund button the language options display and upon selecting the language, the signature pad will display with instructions in the selected language.
When the user signs on the device and clicks on Ok, the Review button gets enabled and clicking upon the Review button, the user is taken to the Review Refund page.
Clicking upon the Confirm button, the Refund processes and the user is taken to the Confirmation page with the Refund details.
Note
Whitelist the following url and port number, along with its TCP forwarding if blocked by proxy or network configuration.
