Manage Products/Services

Manage Products/Services page allows users to view all Products in the database and to create a new product or modify an existing product.

The page can be accessed by clicking on Manage Products/Services link under the Manage Admin dropdown in the navbar.

Note

If the Products/Services switch is disabled at the Merchant level then Manage Products/Services link cannot be found under the Manage Admin in the navbar.

When clicked on Show Filters the page displays with the available filter drop-downs and

The page contains the following elements:

Manage Products & Services

  1. A Hide Filters link that will hide the available page filters
  2. Available filter dropdowns
    • Status — Multi-select filter drop-down to filter the page by Product status such as Active or Deleted or both.
    • Product Type — Drop-down to select the type of the Product.
    • Product Category — Drop-down to select a Product Category.
    • Created By Username — Drop-down to filter the page with created by username.
  3. Reset— Button to reset the filters to their default values
  4. Filter— Button to filter the on-page data based on the selected filter value
  5. A dropdown to change the number of rows displayed in the table
  6. A dynamic search box that will show rows matching the user-entered criteria
  7. Table containing all the products that are saved
  8. Product Name — A link that will take the user to the Edit Product page for the selected product name
  9. Action — Dropdown to Delete or Clone products
  10. A pager to go between pages in case there are more product rows than what will fit on the page
  11. Add— Button which takes the user to Add Product page

If Logged in as Merchant Admin role user, then an another column called Default? with a radion button gets visible on the Products table. If the radio button is selected, then that product/service displays as default option on the Make A Payment page under Product/Service drop-down.

Actions

The Action drop-down of an Active Product/Service looks as below:

Product Summary

Clicking upon the Edit link the user is directed to the Edit Product/Service page where he can modify the product.

A Product can be deleted by selecting Delete from the Action dropdown in Manage Products/Services page.

A deleted product can again be restored by selecting Restore button from the Action dropdown.

Product summary

A Product/Service can be set as Default by selecting Select As Default option. If the Product/Service is selected as default, then on the Make A Payment page, this Product will be auto-populated under the Product/Service drop-down.

Clone Product/Service

Clone Product/Service page can be accessed by selecting Clone from the Action dropdown of a Product row in the Manage Products/Services page.

This page looks and behaves very similar to the Add Product page with the exception that some fields are pre-filled with the values of original Product.

Clicking upon the Save button after the required fields are filled out the user is returned back to the Manage Products/Services page with a success message.
